Day #348 in a Year of Thanks

Day #348 in a Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for a beautiful, crisp afternoon of fresh air.

We got approximately 5 inches of snow, and our neighbors helped a bit with shoveling my car out, as well as the steps leading up to the porch. I did the rest of the shoveling of the porch steps, the back deck, as well as cleaning off the car and the driveway. I took a break for a while between the driveway and the back deck, and observed nature in one of its finest, tranquil moments. Clouds had rolled through, but the sun was peeking through and shining in all its wonder and glory. Despite the temperature being only 24 degrees and the windchill supposedly making it feel more like 12 degrees, it genuinely felt so nice and peaceful to have a beautiful, crisp afternoon of fresh air.
