Day #313 in a Year of Thanks: 
I’m thankful for our first day of rest back home.

We were originally scheduled to return home today, but due to weather concerns between Michigan and Ohio, we decided to make our drive home yesterday. It was a beautiful drive coming home, though Grams and I were so exhausted that we had a major laughing fit for a solid five minutes or so, over some of the silliest things. Absolutely everything was funny, which meant we needed sleep. We got a great rest last night, and we ended up just using this day to rest some more while doing a few chores here and there. It was a great Sunday of rest, and certainly needed and appreciated.
