Day #299 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful my roses are still blooming.

My Mr. Lincoln rose really seems to love the colder months of autumn, and so do a few of my other hybrid tea roses, though that won’t last too much longer. While they have a few more buds getting ready to bloom, I’ve taken the liberty of snipping a few blooms now, so that I can turn them into candied rose petals, which are so delicious. I haven’t had any for most of the year, so it’ll be a sweet treat to take with me on my little vacation out of state.
