Day #255 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for the Trumpet Confirmation.
I was pretty restless last night and had a difficult time getting to sleep because my body felt like it was waiting for something to happen. At some point, I started to actually fall asleep, but then, at 3:06 AM, I literally heard the sound of a trumpet blast in my right ear, which is basically my deaf ear when I’m not wearing my hearing aids. A person has to be practically kissing my right ear for me to hear anything. And yet I heard the blast of the trumpet. Not once, but twice!!
I’d been wondering how I’d be hearing it without my hearing aids, when the time comes for the Lord to call us Home via the Harpazo (rapture), if the Lord doesn’t call me Home before that via a natural death, that is. I can’t fathom what it’s like for people to hear without hearing aids at all, so all this time, I’ve been going off of faith that I would just hear the sound of the trumpet. But now I don’t have to wonder or guess. Now I know I’ll hear it, whether I am six feet under or not. Thank You, Abba; thank You, Jesus, thank You, Holy Spirit, for this blessed trumpet confirmation!
