Day #240 in A Year of Thanks

Day #240 in A Year of Thanks:
I am thankful for 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.”

This is one of my favorite scripture verses, which beautifully describes the Harpazo, initially written in Greek and describing the soon-coming event the world today knows as the Rapture. By definition, Harpazo means to seize by force, snatch up/away, suddenly and decisively. To the world, it’s going to come upon them like a thief in the night, with millions missing globally in an instant (and the governments of the world are likely to cover it up with an “alien invasion” by using AI and Project Blue Beam). As for the faithful followers of Jesus Christ, we will know and sense the season in which this glorious event will take place. I love this bible verse because, whenever the world seems overwhelmingly chaotic and hopeless, especially as I’m seeing the Bible come to life daily in all the global news from politics to natural disasters and strange celestial phenomena, I can rest easy, knowing the Lord is soon returning for all His faithful followers and all the children who have not yet reached the age of spiritual maturity. I don’t know when the Rapture will truly occur, but my spirit has been feeling increasingly restless with each passing day. Come, Jesus, come. We need You now more than ever.
