Day #221 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for my brand new pair of sneakers.

I’m quite picky about my sneakers, but when I find a pair that fits my personality really well, I tend to keep those sneakers as long as possible, in the best condition I can keep them in, and I’ll usually get a second pair as a backup. It’s because I love the first pair so much that I wear them so sparingly, and when they’re finally worn out, I can’t get the same style again, which irritates me to no end. Anyway, the sneakers that I’ve had for a few years needed to be replaced, so I went to the mall today and got new ones, which are just as nifty as the old ones. They had only one pair left in my size, so I made the purchase and found a second pair online, which I’m now waiting for in the mail. I really love my new sneakers. 👟
