Emotional regulation is so critical to our well-being. It helps to reduce stress and anxiety, builds stronger relationships, improves mental and physical health, and more. I think I may have done a post or two on emotional regulation before, but it’s okay to do a reminder post. Emotional regulation isn’t just a one time thing with an expectation of everything getting better overnight. It’s maintenance for our overall wellbeing, so let’s check ourselves and be sure we’re feeling the feelings, witnessing and allowing them to be, but not becoming the emotions.
