Day #167 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful I got to see my legal dad and stepdad.

If you haven’t read my Ancestral Journey yet, feel free to look at the introduction. It’ll give you some insight into the differences between legal, step, and natural parents. Between work, the pandemic, and the distance we live from each other, I haven’t seen my legal father and his husband, my stepdad, in a few years. It was nice spending time with them today and taking a few pictures while catching up and having a few laughs. I really missed them.
