Day #166 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful my vacation week has finally arrived.

I had been saving my PTO for something different and planned to use it later this year, but those plans are now delayed until further notice. Then, a new opportunity arose, and I used my PTO for this week instead. I’m glad I decided on this week, as it’ll give me time to spend with family coming in from Florida, while also allowing me to take a mini getaway trip out of state. Grams and I are still figuring out how to end the week, but we do know we want to do something fun and spontaneous out of town. So, we’ll see what happens.
