Day #160 in A Year of Thanks

Day #160 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for prayer.

I don’t recall if I’ve already made a post about being thankful for prayer, but it doesn’t hurt to share another one about it. My heart has been heavy for a while, and I’ve felt like it’s getting heavier because I’ve been so focused on living in the day-to-day, taking on more responsibility on behalf of my Grams, and working on my own personal goals. I haven’t stopped lately to take a moment and really pray about the things on my mind and in my heart. So, after laying my weary head on the pillow, with exhaustion of the mind and soul coming out in full force, I talked to God. I was reminded of His incredible love, grace, and power, and to be still, let Him handle the matters that were heavy on my heart, and to trust in Him and the process of His good works. It gave me such a beautiful sense of peace, and I fell asleep with all my worries removed. Abba is good all the time, and all the time, He is good—so is prayer.
