I’m thankful for an upcoming mini solo getaway.

I’m 10 days away from a mini solo getaway trip out of state. It was initially planned for my grandmother to accompany me to an event I’m attending, as we always love traveling together. However, she has decided she no longer wants to go on this trip because of her heart condition, which I totally understand and respect. So, I’ll meet up with a friend at the event instead, and afterwards, I’ll revel in some much-needed me time. I can’t remember the last time I took a solo trip, so it’s long overdue, and I’m really looking forward to it.
