Day #154 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for 1 Corinthians 16:13-14: “Be on your guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. Do everything in love.”

I will never claim to be one of those Christians who never sin now that they’re saved, nor will I ever be one to judge someone else for their own shortcomings. Some days, I’m weak. Some days, I’m fearful. Some days, I’m a bit selfish. Some days, I’m in over my head. I’m not perfect, and I’ll be the first to admit it. Scriptural quotes like this ground me and remind me to stand firm in the faith, as I take a moment to look at the bigger picture again. Thank You, Abba.
