Day #109 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for our brand new vacuum cleaner.

Our household typically prefers Hoover, and we’ve had a great run with the Hoover vacuum cleaner we used to have. However, it was ancient, and it started smoking, no matter how clean and well-maintained we kept it. So, we retired our Hoover, went vacuum shopping, and tried out the Shark brand for the first time. While walking around the store for other necessities, a fellow sister in Christ approached us, and she began raving about how she bought the same vacuum and how much she loves hers. Grams and I knew we’d made an excellent decision and couldn’t wait to get home to try it out.

The vacuum we got today is the Shark Rotator Pet Pro Lift-Away ADV with DuoClean PowerFins. I understand why there are over 130,000 4 1/2 out of 5-star reviews online, and I see why people love their Shark vacuums so much. Ours is lightweight and easy to swivel around corners as it cleans. It also cleans very well while being decently quiet (compared to the Hoover). Before today, I hated vacuuming, but with this brand-new Shark, I’ve never had so much fun vacuuming!
