Day #99 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful my grandma’s follow-up appointment went well.

Today was a long day, but it wasn’t bad. It started off with taking Grams to her surgical follow-up appointment. The visit was a lot quicker than we expected it. Last time was about two hours, but this one was about half that. They looked at her eye, did some testing, and are still saying she’s doing well so far. She is still experiencing double vision and a minor episode of flashing lights, but they said it should subside over the next week or two. I’m just so thankful everything went well. Grams can’t wait for her vision to return, though she’s taking it easy for now.
