Day #81 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for teaberry-flavored ice cream.
I first discovered teaberry ice cream a decade ago at a soft-serve ice cream stand at Knoebels. At Knoebels, I’d normally get a vanilla-chocolate twist in a cone, but when I was there on a day when they had vanilla in a twist with a new flavor called teaberry, I knew I had to try it. Teaberry has been my favorite flavor ever since, and it is tough to find at most ice creameries. When I took Grams out for her birthday, she wanted to get ice cream at a particular ice cream shop nearby, and when we went there, I was shocked to find they had teaberry! So, I got a pint of it to go and kept it in the freezer at home to enjoy for another day.
Today is one of those days, and it was so yummy. I love how it tastes like a perfect combination of the original bubble gum and wintergreen flavors. I’ve never had a more refreshing flavor of ice cream, and I’m happy I still have more to enjoy for another time. È così delizioso e squisito. It is so delicious and exquisite. If you ever visit Pennsylvania or pass through on a trip and you see teaberry ice cream as an option for a treat, please don’t skip it. It’s so worth trying. It might just become your new favorite flavor, too. Yum, yum, yum!
