Day #79 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for Colossians 3:12, “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”

This morning, after returning home from the gym, I received a sweet motivational text message saying, “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.” It was attached to the same picture with the Colossians 3:12 scriptural quote: “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” I love this biblical quote because my interactions with people improve when I apply these qualities to my attitude and behavior. I’m far from perfect, and there may be times when I lack one of these qualities, but the goal is to keep growing wherever I need to. This quote is so beautiful, and we can’t go wrong with consistently applying it to our lives.
