Day #70 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful my grandma made it to her 79th birthday.

As mentioned in Day 1 of this series, time is precious with my grandmother, and today was her special day. She had previously mentioned that she wondered if she’d make it to her 79th birthday. I told her she would, and here we are. We celebrated her birthday with dinner, and she got a book she’s excited to read. We’ll celebrate again over the weekend with family, but I’m so incredibly thankful for the time I still have with my Grams. She is so precious to me, and I love her so much. I’m honored I get to call her my grandma because she is the best. I will forever be a #GrandmasGirl.
