Day #42 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful I don’t need my Albuterol inhaler anymore.

It suddenly dawned on me today that I haven’t needed to use my inhaler for a few days. It is such a relief that I no longer need it. I’m not someone who is a true asthmatic, though the doctors keep telling me my lungs react like an asthmatic patient’s do when it comes to upper respiratory infections, which explains why they’ve been consistently giving me Albuterol prescriptions whenever I do have a respiratory illness. It didn’t used to be like that when I was younger, but I know the human body changes periodically. I’m just thankful all the shortness of breath, and most of my coughing, is over with.
