Day #19 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful my grandma’s getting the medical help she needs.

It has been a day. It started off with Grams waking me up in her bout of confusion and not being able to keep her balance. We both knew something was seriously wrong, so I called the ambulance, and they took her to the hospital. She tested positive for COVID, and her oxygen was down to 90, so they are keeping her overnight to ensure she gets the oxygen and hydration she needs. So, it goes without saying that I’m thankful she’s getting the medical help that she needs right now. Understandably, because I still have COVID, they won’t let me visit and vice versa. I’m praying that tomorrow will be a better day for both of us. Please, Lord, let tomorrow bring a better day.
