Day #263 in A Year of Thanks

Day #263 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for a grand and beautiful afternoon up in the Poconos.

My Grams, aunt, and I all took a road trip through the Poconos today and enjoyed a great afternoon at Promised Land Lake. We even visited the nearby church that our ancestors helped to build (my great-great grandparents, or Grams’ grandparents). We also had brunch at a local diner, and went to Callie’s candy shop. I got one of my favorite treats: satellite wafers. It was great reminiscing at the lake, and during the drive, as well as just simply enjoying each other’s presence.
